WayVera collects information you provide directly:

• Account info: Name, email, phone number, CDL details
• Location data: GPS coordinates while driving for routing, HOS compliance, and finding nearby services
• Voice data: Voice commands processed through our AI assistant (not stored after processing)
• Driving data: HOS logs, trip records, fuel transactions, inspection reports
• Company data: If part of a fleet — company name, DOT number, equipment assignments

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide HOS tracking and compliance features
• Power the Vera AI voice assistant
• Calculate optimal truck routes and fuel stops
• Display community shop reviews and road reports
• Process billing and subscriptions
• Comply with FMCSA regulations (ELD data retention)

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

• With your carrier/company (if you're part of a fleet)
• With FMCSA/DOT when legally required (ELD compliance)
• With service providers who help us operate (Supabase for database, Stripe for billing)
• Anonymized/aggregated data for community features (road reports, shop reviews)

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (AES-256) for sensitive fields, TLS for data in transit, and row-level security on all database tables. Voice recordings are processed in real-time and not stored.

5. Data Retention

• HOS/ELD data: Retained per FMCSA requirements (minimum 6 months)
• Account data: Retained while your account is active
• Voice data: Not retained — processed in real-time only
• Location history: 90 days rolling, then aggregated
