How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: In the App

Open WayVera and go to More → Privacy & Data → Delete my account. Confirm with your password. You will be signed out.

Option 2: Email Request

Send an email to support@wayvera.ai from the email address associated with your account with the subject "Delete My Account".

⚠️ What Gets Deleted

Your profile, preferences, and saved routes
Your conversation history with Vera
Shop reviews and road reports (anonymized, not deleted)

📋 What We Must Retain

HOS logs, IFTA mileage and records that support your tax filings — kept up to 4 years (FMCSA 6 months, IRS 3 years, IFTA 4 years), then purged. They protect you in a DOT or IRS audit.
Billing records — required for tax/audit purposes
Audit logs — retained for security

Subscriptions: deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in your phone's subscription settings first.

We complete deletion requests within 30 days and email you when your personal data has been removed.
